Critical Mass Bicycle Demo in Einbeck & Global Climate Strike Bicycle Demo, Rally, and Social Interaction

Every last Saturday of the month, the "Traffic Transition Initiative Einbeck" calls for a bicycle demo in Einbeck. The starting point is the Junge Linde at Hubeweg 1. Cyclists from Einbeck and the surrounding area will then hop on their bikes to participate in a Critical Mass to advocate for an intelligent and comprehensive traffic transition. Especially on the occasion of the climate strike, the participants want to highlight the social benefits that a traffic transition brings: More and cheaper public transport would particularly benefit those with lower incomes, especially now, with extremely high fuel prices. Additionally, a safer and better-developed cycling network would provide an affordable and truly sustainable alternative to the combustion engine.

"Accompanied by good music, we will ride along routes of everyday mobility and draw attention to dangerous traffic situations and inadequate cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. The event always concludes with a short rally featuring previously prepared contributions. This time, contributions will also be prepared by FFF, the Youth Forum, and the Youth Parliament of Einbeck. The Critical Mass is regularly accompanied by cool joint actions, which are announced online on the website of the Traffic Transition Initiative Einbeck. The demo ends at 12 PM at Möncheplatz.

The Critical Mass is a worldwide bicycle event that takes place regularly, where cyclists meet for bike tours through their cities to raise awareness of their equality with motorized traffic. In Einbeck, the monthly Critical Mass is organized by the "Traffic Transition Initiative Einbeck," supported by institutions such as the K20 Project House in Salzderhelden, ADFC Einbeck/Northeim, the Concert and Culture Friends Einbeck e.V., and "Bolle - Cargo Bike Einbeck." A Critical Mass thrives on the enthusiastic participation of members from clubs, companies, schools, kindergartens, or simply citizens of the city who join the group with their bikes. Whether as a cyclist or in organizing the bike demos and the accompanying exciting program. The Critical Mass is regularly accompanied by police officers from the city of Einbeck, who happily ride their service bikes for this purpose.

Planning takes too much time
Too expensive
Ich finde eigentlich immer etwas
Something else
