Visit to the Salzgitter Flat Steel GmbH Steelworks

You can take advantage of the unique opportunity in Germany to visit one of the most modern steelworks in Europe and watch the steel casters at work. Throughout the year, public tours are available, each lasting between 3 to 3.5 hours. Salzgitter AG Steel and Technology showcases the steel production process on selected dates (only Monday to Friday!) to its visitors, from the production of pig iron in the blast furnace to the manufacturing of semi-finished and finished products in the rolling mills.
