Local and regional traders are happy to bring their self-produced goods to Salzgitter-Bad. Surrounded by half-timbered houses in front of the historic town hall cellar, a lively market atmosphere develops every Saturday. Dairy and cheese products can be found alongside fish and meat, as well as baked goods, fruits/vegetables, and (cut) flowers. Depending on the season, fresh asparagus is offered, strawberries in summer, and pumpkins in autumn.
