Mulled Wine Hike

The Hike

The hike takes place in cooperation with Catharina Schütze, Time to Hike. Today, we embark on a delightful journey through the wintry landscape around Hann. Münden. Our 7-kilometer hike leads us over Hermannshagen into the city forest. At the Weserliedanlage, we will enjoy our first mulled wine alongside the magnificent view of the wintery Hann. Münden. Afterwards, we will cross the Weser Bridge and head up into the Reinhardswald to Tillyschanze, where a second mulled wine stop is planned. We will then hike back to the city center via the zigzag path. There, we will be served our third mulled wine at the Hann. Mündener Christmas market.

Note: The descent from Tillyschanze will take place after sunset. Please bring a headlamp/flashlight.

Services:
- Guided hike by a certified hiking guide
- 3 x mulled wine (also non-alcoholic)

Meeting:
- 12:50 PM / Start: 1:00 PM
- Meeting point: New Werrabrücke / Corner of Schulzenrode

Duration of the hike:
- approx. 7 km / approx. 4.5 hours including mulled wine stops
- Total ascent: approx. 190 meters
- Difficulty level: easy+
- Trail conditions: loose ground (forest paths and trails), gravel, and asphalt

Requirements:
- Physical fitness for a 7 km hike and 190 meters of elevation gain
- Walking speed of 4 – 5 km/h
- Sure-footedness; paths may be muddy depending on the weather

What to bring:
- Basic physical fitness for the hike
- Sturdy shoes with good grip
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- A headlamp/flashlight for the descent from Tillyschanze
- Sufficient provisions for the way (snacks and non-alcoholic drinks)
- Good mood
- Money for additional purchases at the Christmas market in Hann. Münden

Note to participants:
This tour is not suitable for strollers and/or wagons. A friendly dog may accompany the hike on a leash. Alcohol consumption during the hike is limited to the two offered mulled wines at the planned stops at Weserliedanlage and Tillyschanze. Please inquire at registration if the dog spot is still available. The tour will be conducted with a minimum of 10 registered participants. The maximum group size is 20 people.
