Costume tour "Walk with the Night Watchman" in Jever

"Hear ye, people, and let it be known: our bell has struck nine" – in earlier times, the call of the night watchman of Jever ensured peace and order. Dressed in historical attire, our tour guides bring this tradition back to life at dusk. Equipped with lanterns, horns, and halberds, they lead visitors through the evening streets of Jever to the city's most beautiful sights. Along the way, they provide insights into life back then and the fascinating history of Jever. Price per person: €10.00 Youth (11 to 17 years): €5.50 Children up to 6 years: free Dates: every Friday from March 22 - October 25, 2024 (except August 9, 2024) Duration: approx. 90 minutes Start: 9:00 PM from the Tourist Information Special dates for groups available upon request!
