Melle Christmas Market

From November 28 to December 14, 2025, the Melle Town Hall Square and the church square at St. Matthew's Church will transform into a Christmas market village that attracts tens of thousands of visitors year after year. It is surely the cozy atmosphere in the shadow of the church towers of St. Matthew and St. Peter, as well as the historic town hall, that makes the Melle Christmas Market unique. With a stylish ambiance created from over 65 wooden stalls, large illuminated entrance arches, and atmospheric tree lighting, the Melle Christmas Market has become one of the most well-known and largest in northwestern Germany. The Melle Christmas Market opens daily from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as Saturdays from 11:00 AM and Sundays from 1:00 PM.
