Wanama - Wangerland Sustainability Market

On October 24 and 25, 2026, the Wanama will open its doors for the sixth time, inviting locals and guests from 10 AM to 4 PM to discover sustainable and regional ideas and products, as well as to learn about the diverse local initiatives in the region. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of handmade products, culinary delights, and creative crafts. From sheep-related products and Frisian honey to natural cosmetics, macramé art, home and garden decorations, and handmade incense, treasures can be found here while experiencing sustainability. The exhibitors are excited not only to present their products and missions but also to share their experiences and tips, showing how sustainability can be integrated into everyday life. Those interested in nature and environmental protection can find interesting insights and participation opportunities with local organizations such as WAU, BUND Wilhelmshaven, JadeWale e.V., or Erde und Flut. Additionally, there will be exciting insights into the animal world at the booth of the National Park House Wangerland, where even a look through a microscope will be possible. At the Spinning Circle Neustadtgödens, visitors can watch felting or spinning demonstrations. For the little guests, there will be a free presentation of the popular picture book cinema at the library on both days at 11 AM and 3 PM. On Friday, an exciting rally through the library will also complement the program from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. At the farm market in the small parking lot, there will also be an opportunity to purchase fresh products. Alongside the Fairmobile from Aurich, the Friesland-Wilhelmshaven hunting association will provide information on nature and animal protection. On Friday, the Hoflädchen Faß will offer regional and unpackaged products for purchase with a brought container. Enjoying a drink, a delicious soup, homemade wild meatballs, or a piece of cake will perfectly round off the experience at Wanama.
