Hooksiel Autumn Glow

The association "De Hooksieler" invites you to the "14th Hooksiel Autumn Glow" at the old harbor on Saturday, October 11, 2025. It is supported by the Hooksiel Theater Group. Children can be creatively painted. At the same time, tours through Hooksiel with a historical Frisian carriage will be available. In addition to culinary delights centered around apples (freshly pressed apple juice, apple pie, potato pancakes with apple sauce, warm apple juice with Calvados), homemade cakes, fish sandwiches, fried fish, and bratwurst will also be offered. Furthermore, from 12 PM, freshly caught crabs can be purchased directly from the cutter "Trotz" - while supplies last. Several artisans and market stalls will enrich the autumn festival. At 6 PM, "Beltane," the folk band from Wilhelmshaven, will perform. With a colorful mix of Irish/Scottish songs and tunes from many eras, the audience will be instantly transported to the beauty of the green island or the wildness of the Highlands. The musical stage program will be complemented by an impressive fire show. As darkness falls, the harbor will be atmospherically illuminated - with professional support from Le-Lichttechnik.
