Aurich City Tour

On a guided city tour, you will learn many interesting facts about epochal buildings, life in Aurich, and some of its former residents. The Aurich City Guides Association offers a city tour on Saturdays at 10:00 AM during the Lower Saxony summer holidays in 2026. You can find the dates in our event calendar. The meeting point is at the Tourist Information of the local tourism association (at the central bus station). You will stroll along the still partially existing city fortifications and through the pedestrian zone with its special atmosphere: well-preserved houses, restored facades from various centuries, and beautiful gables. You will also see the new Aurich and a remarkable composition of old and new, such as the marketplace, the "good room" of Aurich.
