Nordic Zugfolk with DreyBartLang

What must it feel like for a bird to migrate thousands of kilometers between its breeding grounds and wintering areas? What do we know about the life of the storm gull, the featured bird of this year's migratory bird days? What significance do birds hold in the mythology of the partner country Finland, and how does Sami music sound in the far north of Finland? On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the music group "DreyBartLang" will perform Nordic folk music at St. Marien Schillig. With accordion, cello, violin, and guitar, Petra Walentowitz, Florian Fock, Kati Bartholdy, and Holger Harms-Bartholdy will embark on an exciting musical quest. The music, including pieces from Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, England, and Spain, will be accompanied by photos and films related to bird migration. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
