Hike with the national park ranger from Torfhaus along the Ecker to the Molkenhaus and discover extensive forests transitioning to wilderness, bizarre rock formations, pristine streams, and millennia-old moors. For the return journey, a public bus transfer from the Molkenhaus via Bad Harzburg to Torfhaus is possible (schedule information available from KVG).
