Band Makro: Colorful, gripping, catchy, and truly virtuosic: This is how one might describe the duo Makro. Max and Lukas play the violin and cello, effortlessly coaxing the most fascinating tones from their instruments, ranging from classical to jazz and indie rock. The original compositions by the two men are particularly special. Rhythm and harmony are captivating. Classical originals also belong to their repertoire (e.g., Goldberg Variations, Passacaglia). Performing are: Max Eisinger, violin, born in 1993 in Munich, who began playing the violin at the age of 5. He discovered his love for improvisation through Klezmer music, which eventually led him to jazz. At the age of 11, he made his debut at the Munich Philharmonic. Lukas Kroczek, cello, born in 1987 in Poland, received his first cello lessons at the age of 5. At 15, he was accepted as a young student at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, until he continued his education in 2007 with studies at the Nuremberg University of Music under Professor Siegmund von Hausegger. Performance times: Makro will perform at the Kurplatz from Tuesday, September 1, to Sunday, September 6, 2026, usually twice a day. In case of bad weather, efforts will be made to move the concert to the House of the Spa Guest. Please refer to the posters on-site for exact performance times. Töwerland concerts on Juist: From June to the end of September, musical sounds fill the streets of the island of Juist. The Töwerland concerts are here! Different bands stay on the island for a week and perform two concerts a day at the Kurplatz. The music is intended to be calm, creating an atmosphere for listening and enjoying, rather than necessarily a concert for celebration.
