Creative Workshop: Sketchnotes

Sketch Workshop on Juist: Sketchnotes (visual symbols) for visual presentations and greeting cards. Sketchnotes are drawn notes with very simplified images that can also be used in private settings for to-do lists, bullet journals, recipes, or well-wishes. Our brains love images when it comes to understanding and learning. The symbols help structure and process information by visually representing essential content and key messages. Learning is more effective when it's fun! No creativity or drawing talent is required for this course: We will demonstrate drawing, and you will join in right away, surprising yourself with your own results! Course leader of the Sketch Workshop on Juist: Corinna Eilhardt. Here’s what she says about herself: “Curiosity and lifelong learning drive me; inspiring others with images and encouraging them to visualize and be creative is my mission.” I am Corinna Eilhardt, in my mid-50s, and have been working in various commercial roles for 36 years. I know the processes and workflows in corporations as well as the corporate culture in family-run medium-sized businesses, along with marketing, internal corporate communication, and sales in both worlds. I have always used mind maps to organize my thoughts and ideas; during the COVID period, while working from home, I sought creative and relaxing ways to present in online tools and discovered my passion for sketchnotes and explanatory images. Now I would like to pass on my enthusiasm and guide you in using small, effective, simplified icons (symbols) to visually represent and capture your professional content, allowing them to speak for you in relaxed compositions with your own style. Another passion of mine is creating greeting cards, which can be made inexpensively and individually with simple means, serving as a wonderful symbol of appreciation for others in our digital age.
