Gifhorn Skate Night

On Friday, May 29, the popular Skate Night will take place again. MTV Gifhorn e.V. and the city of Gifhorn invite all inline skating fans to a fun tour through the city. Meeting time is from 7:30 PM at the parking lot of the Flutmulde sports facility, Winkeler Straße 1. The starting signal for the approximately 12-kilometer route will be given at 8 PM. The route will take participants around the city center: from Flutmulde via the Stadthallenkreisel towards Konrad-Adenauer-Straße, into the Handwerker and Blumenviertel, south over Calberlaher Damm and Alten Postweg, past Herbert-Trautmann-Platz, and back over Schillerplatz to Flutmulde. Whether young or old, all skating enthusiasts are warmly welcome. The Skate Night will be accompanied by suitable music from DJ Bernd Bendig, who will lead the way in a vehicle. The safety on site will be ensured by the Gifhorn police department and the first aid team of the DRK Gifhorn. This year, the Skate Night will take place for the 30th time and is a great event for the whole family, offering an exciting opportunity to experience the city from a completely different perspective. Ines Schinke, head of the inline skating department at MTV Gifhorn, is also pleased that the event can take place again: "We hope for good weather and many participants who are enthusiastic about inline skating."
