Watching migratory birds with the ranger

The UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea National Park is one of the richest areas for birds worldwide. Together with the park ranger, participants will embark on an exploratory tour to experience bird migration live. For each newly discovered bird species, there will be exciting stories and information about their origin and destination. Special features: Pre-registration at the National Park House (Email: nationalparkhaus@wangerooge.de; Phone: 04469 8397) Equipment: Please bring wind- and weatherproof clothing. In case of heavy rain or wind, the excursion may be canceled at short notice. If available, please bring binoculars/spotting scopes. Binoculars can be borrowed. The meeting point and the further course of the tour are barrier-free and easily accessible with strollers, wheelchairs, etc. The route is approximately 5 km long and leads over paved paths. Suitable for children aged 8 and older and adults without prior knowledge. A maximum of 16 participants can take part.
