An afternoon of laughter awaits visitors on March 1, 2026, at the Konzerthaus Liebfrauen Wernigerode with the latest creation from the spice box of the Leipzig Pfeffermühle. We are in custody. In laughable circumstances. The world is holding its belly from laughter - Germany is having fun again. We are the pioneers on the warhorse. The state is moving forward, but the citizens are left behind. Everyone has an opinion, but no one has a clue. We come up with plenty of ideas – even our bridges. In the past, the railway was valued; today, travel times are what matters. Email, e-car, e-goists. We continue as if there were no tomorrow. Because not every day is the end of the day. Citizens sweeten their lives with empty promises. The government is at a loss - the people are lacking enthusiasm. Democracy is leaving the field, and the farmer is getting ready to run. The boomers step into the shadows, and the youth have no clue. We wait for the economic miracle and experience our own version of it. Some feel foreign in their own country, while others behave as if they were at home. The chancellor shakes hands, the people shake their heads. Not with us - but with whom then? Humorless? Quite the opposite. The Pfeffermühle is delivering something to the spirit of the times. Because coughing is just laughter that gets stuck in our throats. HARAKIRI TO GO is a program that turns the crisis into a comedic crisis. Joke drops against headaches. Giggles for peace. Joy in performance, musicality, wit, and humor.
