A concert of the great Romantic masters: Look forward to an evening full of emotional depth and brilliant orchestration as two of the most significant composers of the Romantic era come together. In addition to Brahms' Double Concerto for Violin and Cello in A minor, you will experience Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's "Scottish Symphony." Inspired by Mendelssohn's journey to Scotland in the spring of 1829, he created with this symphony a work that translates the rugged beauty of the Scottish landscape and architecture into music.
