Ludwig van Beethoven Overture to "Coriolan"
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerto for Two Pianos in E-flat Major KV 365
Franz Schubert Fantasy in F Minor for Piano Four Hands D940
Franz Schubert Symphony No. 4 in C Minor ("The Tragic")

A quote from Schubert's diary from June 1816 sheds light on Schubert's thoughts about Mozart: "How softly the magical tones of Mozart's music still echo to me from afar. […] O Mozart, immortal Mozart, how many, oh how infinitely many such beneficial impressions of a brighter, better life have you imprinted on our souls!" Mozart, who shaped the Viennese Classical period, was an important influence on Schubert, who is considered one of the most significant representatives of early Romanticism. Especially Schubert's late works, including the Fantasy in F Minor and Symphony No. 4, often bear traces of Mozart's clear structure and musical expressiveness. The title "The Tragic" was not given by Schubert himself but was later added by musicians and musicologists to describe the dramatic character of the work. The creation of Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos was closely linked to his relationship with his sister Nannerl, who was also an excellent pianist. He originally wrote the concerto for himself and Nannerl. The music reflects the harmonious collaboration and dialogue between the two pianos.
