Andreas Kaling (1960, Münster) is a unique bass saxophonist who impresses with innovative techniques such as circular breathing and percussive key sounds. Since 2000, he has dedicated himself to the bass saxophone and has made significant contributions to the music scene as a founding member of DEEP SCHROTT and in the duo LEPTOPHONICS with Andreas Gummersbach. His solo CDs were released in 2012 and 2014. He composed for the documentary "Die Würde des Balles" and has been collaborating with dancer Christine Grunert since 2013 and with musician Reinhold Westerheide since 2017. Kaling has been leading the music school BLOW since 2003 and uses Rumberger pickups.
