World Children's Day

Pro Rinteln, together with the city of Rinteln, the Child Protection Association, the Youth Welfare Office, and the KiTa Alliance "Quality in Dialogue," warmly invites you to World Children's Day. In the afternoon, the church square in Rinteln will transform into a colorful experience world for children and families.

Program:
3:30 PM - Opening by Deputy Mayor Mr. Ruhnau
3:45 PM - Participation dance by the Dance School Dance 1
4:00 PM - Sing-along concert "Strong Songs for Brave Children"
4:30 PM - Dance performance by the Carnival Association
From 5:00 PM - Colorful bubble show

Around the main program, there will be a variety of interactive activities throughout the square: from puppet shows to trying out instruments with the district youth music school, a storyteller, a DRK ambulance to marvel at, glitter tattoos, a bouncy castle, and much more. Thanks to Wesergold, free drinks will be available for all children. The KNAX Club of Sparkasse Rinteln is celebrating its 50th anniversary as part of this event and is financially supporting the program.

World Children's Day is an international day of action that puts children at the center and reminds us that they have their own rights, as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. These rights must be respected, protected, and promoted so that every child can grow up safe, healthy, and with opportunities for a good future. All children from Rinteln and the surrounding area are warmly invited to celebrate, discover, and marvel.
