Background of the Escape Game - Sustainable Development Goal 14: The United Nations adopted this World Future Contract on September 25, 2015, with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at ensuring human dignity, protecting the planet, and promoting global peace. The focus of Goal 14 is to protect the aquatic habitat from threats such as climate change, pollution, and acidification. Originally developed by the Hamburg office of Engagement Global in collaboration with game developer Artem Semikras from EscRoom Hamburg for the seal station Friedrichskoog, the game now draws attention to Sustainable Development Goal 14 - Life Below Water of the 2030 Agenda through the cooperation of Engagement Global and the National Park House Wurster North Sea Coast.
