Portrait Photography 1

The targeted photography of people is the core theme of this course. Participants will be introduced to the topic of "portrait photography." We have an experienced model available for the photo sessions. The content will cover: working with and handling a model, communication with the model, and preparing a shooting set. The workshop will begin in the morning with a theoretical part. Familiarity with one's own camera is assumed. The equipment used (lighting, background, etc.) will be explained and adjusted so that everyone can use it. This way, all participants will be well-prepared to work practically. In addition to digital photographers, analog photographers are also explicitly welcome. A follow-up course will be offered for this group, focusing on black-and-white development and creating black-and-white prints. What should be brought? Each participant should have their own camera with a flash sync connection or flash capability. Normal lenses and lightweight telephoto lenses are recommended. Batteries and memory cards should also be brought. Questions can be directed to the instructor in advance. Included services: model fee (with a contract for the publication of the photos), a handout to review the theoretical part of the workshop at home, and the use of provided equipment (flashes and reflectors).
