"Uisge beatha" is the old name for whisky - "water of life" is what the Celts called their whisky in earlier times. Its basic ingredients are barley, yeast, and above all, crystal clear water that flows through moor and heath landscapes. The noble spirit has now also gained a growing following here in our country. In this seminar, you will learn about the history and production of Scotland's national drink, various distilleries, and different whisky brands. We will taste and compare various distillates and explore how to best enjoy whisky. You can take home the special glass used for the tasting.
