Painting with Letters - a Varied Creative Workshop on Juist

Letters can become images: With comic elements and graffiti-like lettering, or even lettering combined with symbols: Sketchnote elements together with letters as a method for "visual thinking and learning." Drawing and sketchnote skills are not necessary, just a love for wordplay; everything else is a learnable technique. We work with metaphors, associations, and analogies, proverbs, and idioms. Materials are provided and included in the price.

Course leader of the creative workshop on Juist: Corinna Eilhardt. Here’s what she says about herself: "Curiosity and lifelong learning are my driving forces; inspiring others with images and encouraging them to visualize and be creative is my mission." I am Corinna Eilhardt, in my mid-50s, and have been working in a commercial capacity for 36 years across various fields. I understand the processes and workflows in corporations as well as the corporate culture in family-run medium-sized businesses, along with marketing, internal corporate communication, and sales in both worlds. I have always used mind maps to organize my thoughts and ideas; during the COVID period, confined to home office, I sought creative, light-hearted ways to present in online tools and discovered my passion for sketchnotes and explanatory images. Now I would like to pass on my enthusiasm and guide you to visually represent your own professional content with small, impactful, reduced icons (symbols), capturing them and allowing them to speak for you in loose compositions with your own style.

Another passion of mine is greeting cards, created simply and cost-effectively in our digital age, serving as a wonderful symbol of appreciation for others.

Registration for the Creative Workshop "Painting with Letters" on Juist: Participation fee: €40 per person.
