The passionate love for music led to the founding of the Osnabrück Music Friends Orchestra in 1986 by enthusiastic amateurs with the aim of performing orchestral works at a high level. Regularly, talented musicians from different generations come together during focused rehearsal phases. The wide age spectrum has always been seen as an advantage and a great opportunity. In terms of difficulty, the orchestra is only deterred by very little. The orchestra provides aspiring young musicians with the opportunity to showcase their skills in solo concerts. Since 1997, the solid musical direction has been in the trusted hands of Reinmar Neuner. The Osnabrück Music Friends Orchestra is already performing in Diepholz for the seventh time.
