At the center of the Leipzig Christmas Market stands the traditional Christmas tree, which illuminates the square in a festive manner. A varied program featuring visits from Santa Claus and musical performances creates a celebratory atmosphere. A special highlight is the daily trombone sounds from the balcony of the Old Town Hall. In addition to delicious specialties and various crafts, the surrounding markets and streets of the historic old town invite visitors to stroll around. The dates for 2026 are subject to change.
