Starting in September 2025, the SKD and the Museum Folkwang will celebrate the 70th birthday of William Kentridge with an exhibition festival at multiple locations in Dresden. His works – ranging from printmaking to film to installation – address themes of apartheid, resistance, and humanity. Highlights will include his prints at the Residenzschloss, a monumental video installation at the Albertinum, and interdisciplinary projects at Kraftwerk Mitte.
