Braiding with fresh willow

Objects made from willow - such as baskets - not only look great but are also a prime example of sustainability: they are made from renewable resources, are sturdy, repairable, and at the end of their "supporting role," they can be disposed of naturally. Peter Lehmann provides a practical insight into the craft and many valuable pieces of information about the tradition and production in the studio of the GLEIS 3 Cultural Center in Lübbenau. Each participant will create their own woven object during the session and take it home. Please bring: apron, garden scissors, sharp knife. The participant fee is €30 per course.
