The garden was created with the help of the internet in 2012. The idea was and still is to create a garden that connects many people of different religions and cultures through the internet. Therefore, in March 2012, a call was made for donations of roses so that the garden could be started. The response to the call was so great that approximately 150 roses are currently being cared for. Meanwhile, over 30,000 people in Germany and abroad are following the development of the project - the becoming and growing of the roses.
