Knehdener Straße 92, 17268 Templin

In the spirit of the reform housing movement of the Weimar Republic, the Templin architect Max Söhnert built five settlement houses on the outskirts of Templin in the early 1930s, which soon received the distinctive nickname "Little Moscow." This was likely because, in the early days, members of the KPD lived there, and allegedly, flyers were printed in one of the houses. Such discoveries were not found by Kathrin Bohm-Berg and her now sadly deceased husband Christian Berg when they acquired one of the houses in 2017, but much of the original charm between craftsmanship, rural life, and modernity has still been preserved in the house and garden. The once quite overgrown garden has now become a small paradise. It is located just before the town exit sign of Templin towards Netzow, between city and countryside, between forest and field, between two lakes, and is now looking forward to being discovered by visitors from near and far.
