Choir Concert Organizer: DAKE The success story of the Heaven-can-wait choir continues! Around 35 singers aged between 70 and 93 years old belt out the songs of the younger generation, charmingly overturning common prejudices about seniors in retirement. Their repertoire once again includes – not at all "age-appropriate" – current hits that everyone knows. However, in their interpretation, the songs take on a different effect, as from the perspective of these life-experienced individuals, they gain a depth that surprises. For the first time, the choir will also present self-composed and self-written songs. Touching songs that address themes rarely mentioned in the young pop world: What is the meaning of life? What does happiness mean? How do I confront the topic of death? Big themes that are presented with passion and a good dose of humor, radiating wisdom without being preachy.
