"Popcorn Symphony" – the grand cinema concert

In this "Popcorn Symphony," the Frankfurt Messehall transforms into a cinema hall. Film music from blockbuster hits such as "Superman," "Barbie," "Gran Torino," "The Piano," "Elevator to the Gallows," "Zorba the Greek," and "Jaws" will be performed. The rich orchestral sound of the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt replaces Dolby Surround Sound, turning great film music into a unique live experience. Film music specialist Bernd Ruf conducts this concert. Joining him on stage is his son Ilja, a versatile exceptional talent who is a pianist, singer, clarinetist, and composer.
