"Young Stars" Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Bassoon Concerto in B-flat Major KV 191 (186e) Carl Maria von Weber Andante and Hungarian Rondo in C Minor op. 35 for Bassoon and Orchestra Gioacchino Rossini Bassoon Concerto Elisaveta Blumina, Conductor Emanuel Blumin-Sint, Bassoon Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt Emanuel Blumin-Sint is an emerging star in the classical music world. The 20-year-old bassoonist has already performed solo at New York's Carnegie Hall and in the Elbphilharmonie. He has collaborated with Simon Rattle and has won more than a dozen first prizes at competitions in Europe and the USA. In 2024, he was awarded the Fanny Mendelssohn Promotion Prize, which enabled him to realize his debut album "Leading Bassoon." The concert is conducted by Elisaveta Blumina, the mother of the soloist. The ECHO KLASSIK award winner is primarily known as a pianist.
