But Ephraim Kishon dares to conduct a thought experiment: What if Juliet had awakened in time and the two are now – 30 years later – stuck in Verona? Romeo is a failed ballet teacher and Juliet is not faring any better in her role as a housewife. Both are struggling with the banality of everyday life. Their teenage daughter Lucretia is going through her puberty, the nurse has her own romantic desires, and Father Lorenzo, now a proud 98 years old, isn't bringing any new energy to the situation either.
