A Musical-Literary Potpourri Based on a Story by Wilhelm Busch Dominique Horwitz, Reading Hansjörg Fink, Trombone Lukas Böhm, Percussion/Vibraphone An evening dedicated to Wilhelm Busch as a cross-border experience: A man experiences in his sleep how "his spirit, his soul, or whatever you want to call it," is compressed into a point. This "I-point" traverses unknown, surreal lands, encounters the most peculiar characters and figures, and experiences all sorts of amusing adventures. In the adaptation by Dominique Horwitz, "Eduard's Dream" becomes a melodrama. Music meets language, melody and sound lead the words, and satire snaps its fingers. The virtuoso classical percussionist Lukas Böhm and the equally virtuosic jazz trombonist Hansjörg Fink create sound and dream worlds that make Wilhelm Busch's satirical prose dance.
