On the occasion of the 80th birthday of the legendary DEFA film production, the Museum Castle and Fortress Senftenberg invites small and large visitors on a journey through the exciting world of East German cinema. A special focus is placed on the popular fairy tale productions of DEFA, which captivated audiences both as feature films and animated films. Other areas of film will also be showcased. Props, costumes, and models illustrate, among other things, the visions of the future in science fiction films or reflect the enthusiasm of the East German population for Native American culture.
