In 1976, the first long-playing record of the mobile song cabaret MTS titled "Mut Tatendrang Schönheit" was recorded at the student club "Kasseturm" in Weimar, but due to printing technical reasons, it could only be released in 1977. Additionally, in 2026, the founder, singer, and lyricist Thomas Schmitt will turn 75 and will return to the stage with his long-time musical companion Frank Sültemeyer to celebrate these two anniversaries together with the audience! In addition to songs from the aforementioned LP, the gentlemen will also present highlights from MTS's over fifty-year career.
