Rainbirds - Through The Web of Time - 40 Years, One Voice

Organizer: Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH In 1986, the Rainbirds turned a plan into a hit: With "Blueprint," they created not just a song, but a true blueprint for sophisticated pop music. The sound of the Berlin band, led by singer and songwriter Katharina Franck, proves even four decades after its founding: When pop is done well, it hits straight to the heart. For their 40th band anniversary, they are returning to the stage in (expanded) original formation: Alongside founding members Katharina Franck and bassist Michael Beckmann, as well as pianist, composer, and long-time "Rainbird" Ulrike Haage, electric guitarist Werner Neumann and drummer Dominique "Gaga" Ehlert will also be on stage. For the anniversary concert series, which focuses on seven albums – from the acclaimed debut "Rainbirds" to the 2014 release "Yonder" – guests Rodrigo González (Die Ärzte) and founding member Wolfgang Glum will also make special appearances.
