The Art of Love (Part 2)

In the second part of the exhibition, further previously unpresented drawings by the sculptor Gustav Seitz (1906 – 1969) will be showcased, created alongside his sensual, erotically charged sculptures and reliefs. Under the title "The Art of Love," a compilation of the most important sculptural works by Gustav Seitz, created from 1958 in Hamburg and also internationally recognized, will be presented for the first time in Trebnitz. Additionally, selected images and some smaller, often dance-like, energetic bronzes by the painter, sculptor, musician, and performer Helge Leiberg will be dynamically combined with the works of Gustav Seitz. Helge Leiberg (born 1954) lives and works in the Oderbruch and Berlin, and he was honored in 2023 with the honorary award from the Brandenburg Prime Minister for his lifetime achievement.
