Here we go again! In their last program, the ladies joyfully celebrated their 25th anniversary. There’s no end in sight for the next 100 years! So – let’s keep going!

Just the beginning. The ladies storm onto the stage, creating a chaotic scene filled with overflowing fun and infectious good spirits. Experience teaches us: as soon as the first song has faded, the stage and the hall vibrate in competition. And they can sing, of course! Sometimes surprisingly delicate like angels, then unexpectedly gritty, yet they still manage to produce heart-opening magical chords. In addition, a variety of expressive solo voices engage in a dialogue with the entire choir.

The Damenlikörchor takes its audience on a journey through an evening full of song and sound, cheerfulness and drama. The crisis-tested ladies have something to say about all topics close to women. About world-changing issues and everyday matters, about the big and the small, which become ever larger when you take a closer look.

There will also be dancing! Talent is abundant, and all choreographies are, of course, perfectly synchronized, though sometimes, in true ladies' fashion, not at the same time. In a harmonious array of colors, the women of Hamburg, of all ages and sizes, have dressed up magnificently. The dresses, hairstyles, and décolletés of the singers set the tone for the music – surprising costume changes are not excluded.

They show the audience and the rest of the world what it sounds like when life, love, and happiness are celebrated with female power, captivating eroticism, and determined steps. All of this is beautifully crafted, arranged, and conducted by the lady tamer Mathias Weibrich. Pianist Jörg Hochapfel provides the virtuosic accompaniment. Two guys with rhythm and tuxedos – it doesn’t get much hotter than this. And when you head home after the concert, you’ll be easily recognized by your broad smile. Cheers!
