Trio Concertant III - Rondo Pyrmont

The rondo, the classic round song in which a recurring section enhances recognition, is the namesake of this format. In the program "Trio concertant III," you will hear original works for flute, violin, and piano, some of which also relate to Bad Pyrmont: The trio sonata in G major by Georg Philipp Telemann, a frequent spa guest in Pyrmont, and pieces from the trio album of Ferdinand Büchner, the flutist born in Bad Pyrmont and the first professor of flute at the Moscow Conservatory. Additionally, the entertaining cassation by Joseph Haydn, five pieces by Caesar Cui, and the salon piece "with the bouquet in hand" by Josef Suk will be performed.
