The rough and the soft, the improvised and the clear – there has been a symbiosis of the very different voices of Dirk Zöllner (Die Zöllner) and Manuel Schmid (Stern-Combo Meissen) several times before. Now, 36 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the two present the most beautiful ballads from the land before our time - songs by Lift, Karat, Biege, Bartzsch, and Lakomy. Together with André Gensicke (pianist and keyboardist) and Marek Arnold (saxophonist), Zöllner and Schmid offer an opulent auditory experience while simultaneously preserving our cultural heritage, without turning it into a nostalgia show.
