Hütte Rockt Festival 2026 – Spoiler Alert: It's going to be rockin' 13 bands confirmed, including Royal Republic, Emil Bulls, and Montreal Organizers report positive results for 2025 Over 900 weekend tickets sold for 2026 Power Disco Rock'n'Roll with Royal Republic, German-speaking punk rock with Montreal, alternative metal with Emil Bulls: Eleven months before the next Hütte Rockt edition, the organizers confirm the first bands. Georgsmarienhütte, 25.09.2025 – The pre-sale for the 19th Hütte Rockt Festival, which will take place in August 2026 in Georgsmarienhütte near Osnabrück, has been running for over a month now. The organizers have now confirmed the first 13 bands. It is already clear: the upcoming edition will be particularly rockin' in more than one way. Leading the lineup is "Royal Republic" as the first headliner: The music of the Swedish band lies somewhere between rock'n'roll and "Power Disco" – a "one-night stand between Metallica and Michael Bolton," as the band describes it. Things will get a bit heavier with Emil Bulls from Munich, whose alternative metal songs already rocked the festival in 2010 and 2014 and are now confirmed for a third round. Also returning is the Hamburg punk rock band Montreal, who, along with their songs with messages and humor, will be guests for the fourth time. Other confirmed acts include: "Tyna" bringing indie punk, "Still Talk" with emo pop and rock, and "Jack Pott" delivering danceable punk rock with an electronic touch on the stages in Georgsmarienhütte. For even more rock diversity – and to provide evidence that first-class music is also being created in the region – there are also "Von Grambusch" from Bremen (acoustic pop/punk), "Tygeryouth" from Ibbenbüren (punk), "Crumbs on Carpet" from Münster and Osnabrück (indie funk rock), "David Tarakona" from Osnabrück (heavy country), "Keit" from Osnabrück (pop and rap), "Klabusterbernd" from Emsland (pop punk), and "Vergissmeinich" from various locations in Lower Saxony (post-hardcore). Positive conclusion after the Hütte Rockt Festival 2025 The successful last festival year has also created room for the 2026 program: The organizers of the Hütte Rockt Festival 2025 drew a positive conclusion. "We had a record in beverage sales in 2025 – and that is a crucial source of income for us. In terms of ticket sales, last year was also the second-best since the inception of Hütte Rockt. That gives us something to work with," explains Marius Kleinheider. The chairman of the association "die Hütte rockt e.V." emphasizes that the association and crew organize the festival on a voluntary basis and that any surplus always goes back into the festival: "We jokingly calculated how many volunteer hours we invested in setup, festival days, and teardown in 2025: We came to about 11,000 hours, spread across 330 helpers. This does not include many, many additional hours of planning and pre-production – as you can see, we are already getting started again." The organizers are encouraged by the fact that ticket sales for the upcoming year are already strong: More than 900 weekend tickets have been sold so far – and that was even before the first band was announced. Update (27.11.2025) Just in time for the pre-Christmas season, the Hütte Rockt Festival in Georgsmarienhütte announces a second wave of bands for the 2026 program. Among them are "Paula Carolina" and "Drei Meter Feldweg," two musical boundary crossers and established names in the German festival scene. "Paula Carolina" brings a completely new sound to the festival – the style of the New German Wave, mixed with indie pop and punk. In the words of the Berlin singer: "Here, the Backstreet Boys fuse with Die Ärzte, Ideal, and Großstadtgeflüster." Similarly hard to categorize are "Drei Meter Feldweg" from the Lüneburg Heath, who operate in intersections of punk, pop-rock, ska, and electronic music. Both share a penchant for strong, critical, and German-language lyrics. Additionally, eleven more acts have been confirmed: "Elwood Stray" from Essen deliver significantly harder riffs with dynamic post-hardcore songs, as do "Seven Blood" with melodic emo-metal. A unique category is "Teuterekordz" from Berlin, who bring an innovative approach to the genre of Atzen-Rap – with intelligent lyrics and "30 percent punk." The current second wave of bands is completed by several groups from Osnabrück: the punk rock formations "North Alone" and "Finn von Gestern," the choir "Die singende Botschaft," the modern rock newcomers "Do Not Bleach," and the indie rock band "Lichterfeld." Additionally, "Womuka" provides acoustic rock and "Hymen" delivers art pop from Münster. The "Richie Miller House Band" brings punk rock from the Weserbergland to Georgsmarienhütte. Pre-sale significantly above last year's level In September, the organizer had already released the first 13 bands, confirming "Royal Republic," "Emil Bulls," "Montreal," "Tyna," and "Jack Pott," among others. "The first wave of bands has clearly resonated well with our audience," explains Simon Tellmann, the second chairman of the association "Die Hütte rockt e.V." "The pre-sale of weekend tickets is far above anything we have experienced in previous years. We hope this trend continues, and that the second wave of bands and the Christmas season will provide further boosts." About 1,200 weekend tickets have already been sold, nearly double the number sold at the same time in the past three years. "Of course, there will also be a third wave of bands. We are continuing to work on the booking. And another headliner will be added by then." All confirmed acts (in alphabetical order): Crumbs on Carpet; David Tarakona; Die singende Botschaft; Do Not Bleach; Drei Meter Feldweg; Elwood Stray; Emil Bulls; Finn von Gestern; Jack Pott; Hymen; Keit; Klabusterbernd; Lichterfeld; Montreal; North Alone; Paula Carolina; Richie Miller House Band; Royal Republic; Seven Blood; Still Talk; Teuterekordz; Tygeryouth; Tyna; Vergissmeinich; Von Grambusch; Womuka.
