Walpurgis Night - in love with home & aware of traditions

The enchanted evening begins in the late afternoon with a boat ride to Lehde. Sometimes witches appear on the shore and... - oh, let yourself be surprised. In the Spreewald village at the festival grounds, these witches are still present and have even multiplied. Together with all the visitors, the Maypole is erected, and traditions surrounding this old custom blend with the love for their homeland shown by the villagers. The afternoon is simply fun. Then everyone is back on the boats, now including the witches. It’s time to return to the Great Spreewald Harbor. Here, the witches really let loose and during the witch dance around the fire, they show that Spreewald witches are GOOD WITCHES... Right after that, the DANCE into May begins. "Dance into May" features lively music from the DJ, a grill stand, great cocktails, and a beer wagon - at least until midnight! Admission is free.
