Starting from November 14, the Sonnenlandpark will kick off its grand winter season – with an entirely new light-themed world and a spectacular laser show. The Sonnenlandpark is the only amusement park in the Erzgebirge and is open year-round – ideal for unforgettable family experiences. In winter, a 1.5 km long walk takes you through the festively decorated outdoor area. Over 700,000 LEDs and numerous photo spots invite you to marvel and linger – and many of the installations are designed for children to discover playfully! TIP: The grand laser show – held every evening in the park by the lake – promises magical moments and makes a visit to the Sonnenlandpark a special experience for adults as well. For ultimate winter fun, the winter village awaits all visitors: An artificial ice rink that is independent of snow and frost, as well as an all-weather tire slide, guarantee great entertainment regardless of the temperatures. Action fans can soar into the air on rides like the Helios and the panorama swing or enjoy a ride on the wave flyer. The indoor play area also invites carefree play: With bouncy castles, electric cars, and a spacious play and adventure landscape spread over four floors, there’s something for every age. There are also areas for toddlers, table football, billiards, and table tennis – perfect for warming up during your winter outing. A walk through the wildlife park with over 200 animals is possible until dusk and brings nature and wildlife closer in winter. You can also find warming treats and winter delicacies at the food stalls in the park – perfect for winding down your visit. Opening hours for the winter season: always open Thursday to Sunday from 1 PM to 8 PM. During the Saxon Christmas holidays, open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, except on December 24, 31, and January 1, which are rest days. Winter holidays from February 7 to February 22, open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM.
