Thomas Nicolai In his new, fast-paced comedic program, parodist, spoken word artist, comedian, and entertainer Thomas Nicolai switches characters as quickly as Klaus Kinski once changed his mood. The freedom of assembly also applies under the skull cap, and thus the personified "Kessel Buntes" entangles various characters in scenes that sometimes provide unorthodox assistance in everyday life, sometimes reveal the strangest things, sometimes reflect on historical events, and usually escalate into absurdity by the end. No Nicolai show would be complete without music parodies. Between Coldplay and country, Max Raabe and "Vamos a la Playa," and between Modern Talking and modern electronic sound, both the ear canals and the laughing muscles are equally put to the test. Accompanying the quirky bard once again is his congenial and virtuoso long-time stage partner Robert Neumann, who, with his characteristic enthusiasm, is always willing to get involved in any silliness and make a fool of himself.
