RangerTour: Cranes in the Evening Light

Bird Migration: Autumn is Crane Time. On their journey to the southern wintering grounds, the impressive large birds cross the Brandenburg river landscape and take a break. During the day, they rest on harvested corn stubble fields, and at night on the shallow waters of the biosphere reserve. Every evening, the large gray cranes fly to their roosting sites to spend the night well protected. The autumn spectacle also takes place at the Rambower Moor. Hundreds to thousands of cranes glide overhead, trumpeting loudly, and land gracefully in the wet meadows. An unforgettable show for all interested parties.
