"One-Twenty-One Before the End" is a comedy by Matthieu Delaporte that will be performed at the Kolpinghaus Brilon community center. The plot revolves around Bertrand, who, after a failed suicide attempt, plans to take his own life once again. However, his intentions are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a stranger with a mustache and a weapon. A humorous dialogue unfolds about the motives behind suicide and the identity of the unknown, who turns out to be Death himself. When Bertrand learns that it is not he, but his secretly admired neighbor Clémence, who is to be taken by Death, a new will to live awakens in him, and a race against time begins. Matthieu Delaporte is known for his intelligent comedies with precise dialogues. In the role of Bertrand, Heiko Ruprecht shines, known from the ZDF series "Der Bergdoktor," where he plays Hans Gruber, the brother of the mountain doctor. The production promises an entertaining evening of theater with depth and invites the audience to engage with the existential questions of life in a humorous way.
