"Mr. Lehmann - Electrolytes, Love, and the Sound of the 80s" - Burghofbühne Dinslaken

The focus is on Frank Lehmann, just before his 30th birthday, who works as a bartender in Kreuzberg pubs. His seemingly orderly life begins to unravel when he unexpectedly falls in love, his parents announce their visit, and his friend Karl threatens to lose his mind while preparing for his first art exhibition. Additionally, discussions with a cook about the perfect roast pork recipe lead to further turbulence. The fall of the Berlin Wall ultimately marks the conclusion of a series of events that turn Frank Lehmann's world upside down. Sven Regener's debut novel quickly gained cult status and was successfully adapted into a film by Leander Haußmann. The stage adaptation promises to capture the atmosphere of the novel with deadpan humor and an authentic portrayal of Berlin's nightlife in the late 80s. The performance in Brilon will take place at the Kolpinghaus community center, which provides an ideal setting for theater performances and cultural events.
