The Berlin musical cabaret artist, known for his awards such as the Prix Pantheon and the Stuttgarter Besen, incorporates experiences from cycling tours, monastery stays, and communist summer camps into his songs. With skilled piano and guitar playing, as well as sharp-witted humor, Schilgen navigates the detours and twists of life and his own mind. His performances are characterized by profound punchlines and a blend of lightness and depth. The Kolpinghaus community center in Brilon, with its modern stage and media technology, provides the ideal setting for this cultural highlight.
